Floni is the stage name of Icelandic rapper and producer Friðrik Jóhann Róbertsson, born 2 March 1998. He broke through in 2017 with the single "Tala Saman" and his debut album *Floni* on Sony Music Iceland, and his melodic use of autotune went on to define the sound of a generation of Icelandic hip-hop artists. After stepping back during the pandemic years, he returned with the critically acclaimed *Floni 3* in October 2024 - five years in the making - cementing his status as one of Iceland's most prominent artists.
Floni released the single "Síróp" in 2026 as his latest release.
Floni performed at Iceland Airwaves 2025 in Reykjavík (6-8 November) and closed the evening at Kolaport with a show where the audience sang along to every word.
Floni released the singles "Lífsstíll" and "FÖGNUM Í KVÖLD" in 2025.
Floni 3 was nominated for the Íslensku tónlistarverðlaunin 2025, which were presented at Harpa on 12 March.
Floni released his third album *Floni 3* on 25 October 2024 on Sony Music Iceland - five years after its predecessor.
