Fontaines D.C.
Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. brings their award-winning sound and powerful live energy to Royal Arena.
Fontaines D.C. are an Irish post-punk band from Dublin, formed in 2017 by five musicians who met at the city's BIMM music college. Vocalist Grian Chatten, guitarists Carlos O'Connell and Conor Curley, bassist Conor Deegan III, and drummer Tom Coll have built a catalogue that has grown from raw, poetry-driven post-punk into increasingly ambitious sonic territory. Their debut 'Dogrel' (2019) earned a Mercury Prize nomination, 'Skinty Fia' (2022) topped the UK and Irish charts, and 'Romance' (2024) brought Grammy nominations and a BRIT Award. Their fifth album, 'Dopamine Chamber', arrives in October 2026 alongside the biggest headline tour of their career.
Fontaines D.C. released the single 'Marianne' and announced their fifth album 'Dopamine Chamber', which will be released on October 16, 2026 via XL Recordings.
The band headlined Reading & Leeds Festival and Electric Picnic in August 2026 - the biggest festival performances in the band's career so far.
Fontaines D.C. announced a 20-date arena tour in the USA, UK and Europe for autumn 2026, including a concert in Copenhagen on November 8.
'Romance' won International Group of the Year at the BRIT Awards 2025 and received two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Alternative Music Performance.
The tracks 'Starburster' and 'In ár gCroíthe go deo' appeared on the soundtrack to Steven Knight's Netflix drama 'House of Guinness', which premiered in September 2025.
