Frank Arnesen (born 1956 in Copenhagen) is one of the most prominent figures in Danish football history, first as a player for Ajax, Valencia, Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, then as sporting director at Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Hamburger SV. He earned 52 caps for Denmark and was a key player in Sepp Piontek's celebrated 1980s national side at Euro 1984 and the 1986 World Cup. His final season as a player ended with PSV's 1988 Treble - the Dutch title, cup and European Cup. He was inducted into the Danish Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
