Gårdsangerne fra Thy is a Danish folk-music ensemble formed in 1997-98 by Anne and Per Alstrup together with friends from a folk high school course. The group of around ten members plays old "gårdsanger" ballads on instruments like accordion, violin, banjo, saw and washboard, inviting the audience to sing along. They have released five CDs and a DVD and perform at venues, nursing homes and churches across Denmark.
