Ghost Iris are a progressive metalcore band from Copenhagen, formed in 2012 by vocalist Jesper Vicencio Gün and bassist Nicklas Thomsen. Their sound fuses djent, melodic death metal and metalcore, built around technically demanding guitars, hard-grooving drums and a vocal range that moves between sinister growls and hooky clean choruses. Their 2015 debut was the most-streamed Danish album of that year, and 2019's 'Apple of Discord' brought them onto stages alongside Dream Theater and Jinjer across Europe, the UK and Japan. They record for Long Branch Records (SPV).
Ghost Iris released their fourth studio album 'Comatose' in May 2021, featuring guest vocals by Chimaira's Mark Hunter.
Apple of Discord received broad positive reviews and brought the band to headliner festival slots in Europe, UK and Japan.
