GLAIVE + KURTAIN
GLAIVE and KURTAIN share the bill at Musik Loppen, bringing two distinct artists to the stage in one night.
Glaive, born Ash Blue Gutierrez on January 20, 2005, in Florida, grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and started making music during the pandemic as a high-school student recording in his bedroom. He broke through on SoundCloud with a hyperpop and emo-influenced sound, signed to Interscope Records in 2020, and has since released four studio albums while steadily broadening his sonic range. His stage name comes from the video game Dark Souls III.
Glaive released the collaborative album 'God Save The Three' on May 8, 2026 with his long-time collaborator Kurtains via Broke/Slowsilver03.
Glaive's third solo album 'Y'all' was released on September 26, 2025 via Broke under the Slowsilver03 imprint and was preceded by the singles 'Asheville' and 'Appalachia'.
Glaive toured in January 2026 in North America in support of the album 'Y'all', including a show in San Francisco on January 28.
The single 'Asheville' was released on July 18, 2025 and marked the beginning of the release period for 'Y'all'.
Glaive released his second solo album 'May It Never Falter' on October 11, 2024 as an independent release under Slowsilver03, recorded in Iceland.
