Henning Munk Plum is a Copenhagen-based jazz musician from the Vanløse district, playing soprano saxophone and clarinet. He leads the quintet Henning Munk & Plumperne, which has toured Denmark, Sweden and Germany for decades with traditional swing and New Orleans jazz - earning him the nickname 'the Danish Sidney Bechet' in Dresden. The band has released four albums and draws its repertoire from standards and evergreens in the tradition of Bechet and Louis Armstrong.
