Henrik Hansen

About

Henrik Hansen is a Danish blues musician from Roskilde who made his name in Aarhus's blues scene during the 1980s and co-founded Trouble Cats in 1987. He plays harmonica and sings, and has written much of the band's original material. Beyond Trouble Cats, he has worked with Gary Snider Group, Mojo Hands, Kent T. & the Delta Grinders, and the supergroup Silver & Blue.

    Henrik Hansen and Michael Nadolny released the duo album 'At the Crossroads' on Spektrum - nine tracks recorded live in the studio at Jailhouse Studios.

    The duo Henrik Hansen and Michael Nadolny performed at Casa V58 in Aarhus and participated in April in a two-week Blues & Roots Cruise in Norway.

    Trouble Cats were on an autumn tour in Denmark with stops in, among others, Halsnæs, Ebeltoft, Aarhus, Randers, Gjern, Copenhagen and Roskilde, and have additional concerts planned for 2026.

    Trouble Cats were nominated for two awards at Danish Music Awards Blues 2023 - Danish Blues Release of the Year for the album 'Hard Facts & Poetry' and the Blues Live Award.
