I Hate Models is the alias of French producer and DJ Guillaume Labadie (born 1995), who broke through with his 2016 EP Warehouse Memories on the Arts label and has since become one of the most distinctive voices in European industrial techno. His sound moves freely between techno, trance, EBM and post-punk - always with a raw, melancholic edge - and he performs consistently masked to preserve his anonymity. Alongside his own releases, he runs the Disco Inferno label and has remixed artists including Depeche Mode.
