Bassist and composer Ida Duelund performs an intimate solo concert. With her modern, surrealist approach, she moves freely between genres and music history.
Ida Duelund (b. 1987) is a Copenhagen-based Danish bassist, composer and singer who moves fluidly across jazz, experimental music, pop and film scoring. She co-founded the experimental string duo Lueenas and has collaborated with artists including Baby In Vain, Jada, ML Buch and jazz legend Marilyn Mazur. Her debut solo album Sibo (January 2025) earned her two prizes at Danish Music Awards Jazz 2025 - Jazz Composer of the Year and Single of the Year for 'Misi Miamo'. She also composes for film and institutions such as the Royal Danish Theatre and the National Museum of Denmark.
