Interview with the Vampire is Anne Rice's debut novel from 1976, following the vampire Louis as he recounts his life to a journalist. The book launched Rice's Vampire Chronicles series and was adapted into a film in 1994, starring Tom Cruise as Lestat and Brad Pitt as Louis.
