Jakob Gunnertoft is a Danish rhythmic pianist and choir director, trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium). In 2009 he founded Gunnertoft Gospel Singers - a professional choir of conservatory-trained singers and the only ensemble of its kind in Denmark - establishing himself as a composer and arranger whose work is performed by gospel choirs across the country. The choir has recorded and performed alongside artists including Søs Fenger, Erann DD and Michael Falch. In 2025 he launched a new ensemble, Gospel Nyfortolket.
Jakob Gunnertoft launched the new ensemble Gospel Nyfortolket with a spring tour to, among others, Vildbjerg, Aarhus and Aalborg.
