Jens Haack (born 6 April 1955 in Høsterkøb) is a Danish saxophonist, trumpeter and composer who has been one of the country's most in-demand session musicians since the early 1970s, appearing on hundreds of recordings. He co-founded the pop orchestra Moonjam with the Kærså brothers in the early 1980s and remained the band's saxophonist until 1996. The Moonjam album "Songs For Saxophone" (1992) sold over 100,000 copies, making it the best-selling Danish instrumental album on record. As a solo artist he released the jazz album "Smokers Lounge" (2011, Stunt Records) alongside guitarist Mikkel Nordsø and pianist Ben Besiakov, and in 1994 he recorded a three-movement saxophone concerto written for him by Anders Koppel with the DR Entertainment Orchestra.
