Jørgen de Mylius, nicknamed Mylle, is a Danish music journalist, broadcaster and author born on 5 March 1946 in Frederiksberg. He joined DR in 1963 at the age of 17 and went on to become one of the most recognisable voices in Danish media history. He is closely identified with Dansk Melodi Grand Prix - hosting it 11 times and commentating on Eurovision 24 times - and continues to present "Eldorado" and "Hithouse" on DR P5. He was awarded the Order of the Dannebrog in 2013 and was the first recipient of the Danish Radio Industry's Honorary Award in 2001.
Jørgen de Mylius received the honorary award Årets Otto at TVprisen 2026 in DR Koncerthuset the day after his 80th birthday on March 5.
