John Teglgaard is a Danish guitarist who has played with Hyldemor, Bifrost and Lone Kellermann og Rockbandet. He appeared on Hyldemor's 1978 debut album Glem det hele and was a member of Bifrost from 1978 until around 1985. These days he mostly performs his own songs, often solo on guitar and ukulele, and he regularly brings musicians together for Hyldest til Hyldemor, a tribute to the songs of Hans Vinding.
Hyldest til Hyldemor 2026 is announced for Friday, December 18, 2026 at Støberihallen in Hillerød with Uffe Lorenzen, Trine Trash and Anne Eltard, hosted by John Teglgaard.
After a series of concerts in 2026, Hyldest til Hyldemor continues in the summer of 2027, including a date at Hotel Cecil.
