Jonas Egholm (b. 1997) is a Danish classical guitarist from Børkop near Vejle who has won more than 15 national and international competitions, including 1st prize at the International Guitar Festival José Tomás Villa de Petrer in Spain (2020) and 1st prize at the Sarajevo International Guitar Festival (2019). In 2023, DR P2 named him Talent of the Year, and he made his official debut from the Soloist Class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music the same year. He performs regularly across Europe, Asia and Latin America, and is actively engaged with newly composed Danish music.
Jonas Egholm performs as a guitar soloist at Fanø Festival 2026 with a program of Bach, Regondi, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Tárrega.
Jonas Egholm was a guest at Vesthimmerlands Musikhus ALFA as part of his active concert activities after his debut from the soloist class.
DR P2 named Jonas Egholm as P2 Talent of the Year 2023, and composer Sandra Boss received a commission for a new work for him, which was premiered with Esbjerg Ensemble.
Jonas Egholm's solo album with music by, among others, Sergio Assad and Joaquín Rodrigo was named 'Album of the Week' on DR P2 from March 27, 2023.
Jonas Egholm received the Léonie Sonning Talent Prize in 2020 as a student at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
