About

Jonatha Brooke is an American singer-songwriter from Massachusetts who has been releasing music since the early 1990s, first as half of the folk duo The Story and then as a solo artist. Her songs blend folk, pop and rock with sharp lyricism and close harmonies, and she has written for Disney films and television. In 2008 she set previously unrecorded Woody Guthrie lyrics to music on The Works, and her 2014 album My Mother Has 4 Noses reached the Top Ten of Billboard's Americana/folk chart.
