Julián Maraboto is a Mexican singer-songwriter and composer who has lived in Kolding, Denmark for many years. He performs both as a solo artist and as the lead vocalist of the multicultural band Los Fuegos, which was nominated for Danish Music Awards World as 'Best Live Name' in 2014. His music ranges from rock and cumbia to bossa nova and Mexican ranchera, with lyrics rooted in the experience of living between two worlds.
Maraboto released the singles 'MÁTAME', 'JAMAICA' and 'LO QUE DAS' during 2025.
The Alterlatino events at Conga in Copenhagen continue in 2026 with Maraboto as a regular host every Wednesday.
