About
Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor and author who grew up in Bangalore. He broke through with the YouTube series "Pretentious Movie Reviews" alongside Biswa Kalyan Rath, and has since released specials on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video while touring across North America, Europe and Australia. In January 2024 he published his debut novel "Acts of God" (HarperCollins), a comic science-fiction story, and his fourth stand-up hour "What Is This?" was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
