Karen-Marie Lillelund delivers a humorous lecture on navigating everyday life when plans collide with reality and improvisation becomes the strategy.
Karen-Marie Lillelund (born 1968) studied dramaturgy and music at Aarhus University and has spent more than two decades as one of Denmark's most sought-after speakers on humour and workplace communication. The event agency Confex has twice named her Denmark's best speaker, and she holds a US Corporate Speaker certification. Alongside her lecture work she hosts the podcast "Dig og mig og musicals" and has written several books, most recently "Smalltalk - ja tak!" (2023).
Karen-Marie Lillelund is on tour in 2026 with her new lecture "While We Wait for the Strategy", which takes a humorous look at modern everyday life with emails, packed lunches and the meaning of it all.
In November 2025, Karen-Marie Lillelund held the lecture "Keep the Balance - Enjoy Life" in Aarhus.
In 2023, Karen-Marie Lillelund published the book "Smalltalk - Yes Please!" at the publisher Grønningen 1 - a call to Danes to talk more with each other.
