Kim Kix (born Kim Hjorth Jeppesen) is the singer, guitarist and creative engine behind PowerSolo, the Aarhus-based cult band he launched as a solo project in 1996. Over more than ten studio albums, the band has toured Europe, the USA, South America and Africa playing their self-coined genre 'Donkey Punk' - a frantic mix of garage, punk, psychobilly, surf and world music. PowerSolo tracks have appeared in over 70 Hollywood films, TV series including True Blood and American Horror Story, and ad campaigns for Coca-Cola and Renault.
PowerSolo releases the new album 'Rip It!' on October 23, 2026 on Crunchy Frog.
PowerSolo performed the 'Rip It!' tour in March 2026 with stops in Aalborg and Copenhagen as well as in the UK, Belgium, France and Germany.
