KIOSK is an Aarhus-based band working at the intersection of poetry and music, drawing on jazz, Latin and pop. Singer and lyricist Maj Ørskov fronts the group, while the remaining four members - Rasmus Hvelplund, Andreas Ohrt, Anders Boye Knudsen and Severin Perch Kibæk - compose collectively. Their critically praised albums "Tæt nok på" (2021) and "Drift" (2023) established them on the Danish jazz scene, and their third studio album "Nyt ritual" followed in September 2025 on April Records.
KIOSK released their third studio album "Nyt ritual" on April Records on September 5, 2025 - a jazz-poetic interpretation of the Christian church service's liturgy.
The single "Paloma" from the album "Drift" (2023) was nominated for Single of the Year at Danish Music Awards Jazz 2023.
The debut album "Tæt nok på" (2021) was named Album of the Week on DR P8 Jazz.
