About

Kjartan Arngrim (born 15 October 1979 in Odense) is a Danish singer, guitarist and co-founder of the rock trio Folkeklubben, which he formed in May 2011 together with drummer Rasmus Jusjong and guitarist Rasmus Dall. The band is known for poetic, guitar-driven rock built around communal singalongs, and has released six studio albums since its 2013 debut 'Nye Tider', including 'Sort Tulipan' and 'Mere End En Klub'. Arngrim grew up near a psychiatric hospital in Risskov, where his parents worked as psychiatrists, a background that has shaped much of the band's songwriting.
