Kneecap are an Irish rap trio from Belfast - Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí - who perform in Irish and English, mixing hip-hop, punk and rave with sharp political commentary. Formed in 2017, they first drew attention when their debut single was banned from Irish radio, and have since become one of the most talked-about acts in British and Irish music. Their 2024 self-titled biopic won a BAFTA, and their outspoken political stances have kept them in headlines well beyond the music press.
Kneecap released their second studio album FENIAN on May 1, 2026 via Heavenly Recordings, produced by Dan Carey and featuring guests such as Kae Tempest and Killer Mike.
