Kristin Korb is an American jazz double bassist and vocalist, born in Montana and based in Copenhagen since 2011. She made her recording debut with Ray Brown in 1996 and has released ten albums, most recently Sweet Dreams (2024) - a jazz reimagining of Eurythmics classics. A former president of the International Society of Bassists, she has also taught at the University of Southern California and Central Washington University.
Kristin Korb performs at Ærø Jazz Festival with her Eurythmics program.
Korb plays at Copenhagen Admiral Hotel together with Claus Waidtløw and Janus Templeton.
Korb and Steen Nikolaj Hansen perform at Aarhus Kunsthal/jazzselskabet in Aarhus.
Korb tours in the USA with the Sweet Dreams project and plays, among other places, at Danish American Center in Minneapolis.
The album Sweet Dreams - a jazz interpretation of Eurythmics classics - is released on October 25, 2024 and receives reviews in, among others, Jazz Journal and London Jazz News.
