About

Kurt Strand (born 1955) is a Danish journalist with over four decades of experience at DR, TV 2 and various print and radio outlets. He spent 25 years at DR as a reporter and studio host - most notably on Deadline and Profilen - before going independent in 2010 as a lecturer, moderator and media commentator for Kristeligt Dagblad. His books cover journalism, politics and diplomacy; his most recent, *Så tal dog ordentligt* (2025), examines the deteriorating tone of public debate, and he co-organises the annual Sprogdagen language prize.
