Lars Ranthe (born 26 August 1969 in Copenhagen) is a Danish actor who trained at the Odense Theatre acting school, graduating in 1998. He broke through with his portrayal of Kjeld Petersen in 'Dirch' (2011), winning both a Robert and a Bodil Award for best supporting actor, and has since become one of Denmark's most recognisable screen presences - known internationally for his role in Thomas Vinterberg's 'Another Round' (2020), which earned him the acting prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
'Art' at Bellevue Theatre was named one of the best theatre productions of 2025 and continues on tour in Denmark in 2026.
