Les Big Byrd are a Swedish psych-rock band from Stockholm, founded in 2011 by Joakim Åhlund - known from Caesars and Teddybears - and Frans Johansson, formerly of post-grunge act Fireside. Their sound draws on motorik grooves, garage rock and electronic textures rooted in krautrock and psychedelia. Five studio albums in, they have built a loyal following across Europe through relentless touring.
Les Big Byrd released their fifth studio album Ruin Everything on June 5, 2026 via the record label Chimp Limbs.
The band is on a UK tour in August 2026 with concerts in London, Manchester, Brighton and Oslo.
In February 2025, Les Big Byrd toured in the UK as support for The Brian Jonestown Massacre and then played their own headliner shows in Germany.
In January 2025, the band released a rework single of the album track 'Diamonds, Rhinestones and Hard Rain' in collaboration with Imarhan.
The fourth studio album Diamonds, Rhinestones and Hard Rain was released on March 22, 2024 and marked the band's most varied release to date.
