Lis Sørensen (born 28 May 1955 in Brabrand) is a Danish singer, songwriter and composer who trained as a music pedagogue at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. She rose to prominence in the 1970s as a member of the all-female band Shit & Chanel, then built a close collaboration with Sebastian, who wrote 'Stille før storm' for her - a song later enshrined in Denmark's official music canon. Her 1989 solo album Hjerternes sang sold 350,000 copies, making her one of the country's best-selling artists.
