Magtens Korridorer (DK)
Danish rock band Magtens Korridorer plays Copenhagen on New Year's Eve.
Magtens Korridorer are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 1995 by students at the University of Copenhagen. The five-piece - fronted by Johan Olsen alongside guitarists Rasmus Kern and Niklas Schneidermann, bassist Terkel Møhl and drummer Anders Ramhede - built their reputation on sharp, poetic lyrics and a sound that mixes melodic rock with post-punk. Their 2005 platinum album Friværdi broke them into the mainstream, and they have since been a consistent presence in the Danish Top Five.
Magtens Korridorer concluded their nationwide acoustic concert hall tour in spring 2026 with stops at, among others, DR Koncerthuset, Musikhuset Aarhus, Musikkens Hus in Aalborg and ODEON in Odense.
The band is booked for Rock i Lunden in Horsens on August 21, 2026 and Køge Festuge on August 30, 2026.
It was announced that Magtens Korridorer in autumn 2026 will embark on yet another Denmark tour with a distillation of their back catalog.
The EP Nødudgang was released in 2022 and was followed by an extensive tour in Denmark.
The eighth studio album Club Promise was released on April 16, 2021 and debuted at number two on the Danish album chart.
