Matthew Mole is a singer-songwriter from Cape Town, born in 1991. His sound began as folk with electronic undertones and has gradually moved toward a poppier, indie-leaning style. His debut album The Home We Built came out in 2013, and its follow-up Run (2016) also debuted at number one on iTunes in South Africa. He has supported acts such as Bastille and Of Monsters and Men and has headlined several European tours.
Matthew Mole has released the single "Love Me" as a mini-EP with two B-sides and plans several singles late in 2026 and in 2027.
Matthew Mole plays at Rust in Copenhagen on November 8, 2026 with Gio Dara as support, as part of a European tour.
