About

Michael Carøe (born 11 October 1960) is a Danish entertainer, singer and actor who trained at the National Theatre School, graduating in 1984. He first came to public attention as part of the comedy trio Plat and as a host on Kanal 2's Morgenflimmer, and has since built a reputation as one of Denmark's leading crooners, drawing on the Frank Sinatra and Rat Pack tradition. Alongside his stage work - including musicals such as Evita and Chicago and a stint at the Royal Danish Theatre - he is known internationally from the TV series Klovn and regularly performs with big bands across the country.
