MidtVest Børnekor is a girls' choir for 8-9-year-olds based at Den Jyske Sangskole in Herning, founded in 1999. It serves as the entry point to the MidtVest Pigekorene choir school, a three-tier structure that leads through MidtVest Juniorkor to the elite ensemble MidtVest Pigekor - around 130 singers in total, all receiving tuition in singing, ear training and musical development.
Søsterkoret MidtVest Pigekor, which is the pre-school for MidtVest Børnekor, won a gold medal at the European Choir Games in the summer of 2025.
