Naja Marie Aidt is a Danish poet and author born in Greenland in 1963, whose work spans poetry, short fiction and novels. She won the Nordic Council's Literature Prize for her short story collection Baboon (2008) and the Grand Prize of the Danish Academy in 2020. Her books have been published in more than 19 languages, and her grief memoir When Death Takes Something from You Give It Back was longlisted for the US National Book Award in 2019.
