New Gospel Generation is a children's and youth gospel choir run by Gospelfællesskabet Sønderborg, based at Sønderborg Frikirke on Damgade 94 in southern Denmark. Around 25 singers from the Danish equivalent of kindergarten through ninth grade rehearse weekly, performing Danish and English gospel songs with choreography and solo microphone parts. The choir was formed by merging the former Gospel4Kids and Gospel4Teens choirs and is part of a wider local gospel community of roughly 150 singers in Sønderborg.
The choir performed again together with Hearts of Gospel at the traditional Christmas concert in Lysabild Church.
The choir was formed by a merger of the former choirs Gospel4Kids and Gospel4Teens, and the Gospel Fellowship Sønderborg then had four choirs with a total of around 150 singers.
At the start of the season in August 2025, the choir rehearsed on Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. and held an open house for new members together with the other choirs in the Gospel Fellowship Sønderborg.
The choir participated in several Christmas concerts in December 2024, including in Lysabild Church and Ulkebøl Church together with Hearts of Gospel and New Hope Gospel Choir respectively.
New Hope Gospel Choir and New Gospel Generation perform a Christmas concert in the afternoon at Ulkebøl Church with family-friendly ticket prices.
Hearts of Gospel and New Gospel Generation bring Christmas cheer to Lysabild Church with their traditional holiday concert.
