Niels Jørgen Steen (born 7 February 1939) is a Danish pianist, arranger and bandleader who has been active in jazz since 1958. He played alongside Ben Webster, Coleman Hawkins and Dexter Gordon, and in 1985 stood in for Count Basie on an Italian tour. Since 1999 he has led Monday Night Big Band, a big band that performs monthly at Paradise Jazz in Copenhagen, and he previously conducted the DR Big Band and Tivoli's Big Band.
