Nikolai Bøgelund (born 1973) is a Danish trombonist, arranger and conductor based near Aarhus. He has performed with virtually every major Danish artist and toured internationally with Lukas Graham as part of the brass group The Rusty Trombones. Since April 2026 he holds the newly created position of Rhythmic Chief Conductor at Danmarks Underholdningsorkester, and regularly conducts Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, DR Bigband and several symphony orchestras. He received the Gaffelprisen - one of Denmark's most prestigious jazz awards - in 2018.
