About

Nils Torp is a Danish musician and songwriter born in Aalborg on 20 February 1953. He played keyboards in the influential new-wave band Kliché (1980-85), whose album "Supertanker" entered the Danish cultural canon, before co-founding the pop duo Souvenirs with singer Sofie Bonde in 1993. Souvenirs became household names in Denmark through 1990s hits like "Han tog et nattog" and "Jeg hader Susanne", and Torp has continued to work in chamber music and Himmerland folk music alongside his stage career.
