Olof Dreijer from the Swedish electronic duo The Knife takes the stage at Cecil AM in Copenhagen.
Olof Dreijer is a Swedish musician, producer and DJ, best known as one half of the influential electronic duo The Knife, which he formed with his sister Karin Dreijer in 1999. The duo broke through internationally with 2006's "Silent Shout" and are widely credited with pushing the boundaries of electronic music through dark, experimental sounds and sharp political awareness. As a solo artist he has released music as Oni Ayhun and under his own name, culminating in his debut solo album "Loud Bloom" in May 2026 - a globally minded dance record featuring collaborators from South Africa, Colombia and Sudan.
Olof Dreijer released his debut solo album "Loud Bloom" on May 8, 2026 via the label dh2 with guests such as Toya Delazy, Diva Cruz and MaMan.
"Loud Bloom" received a score of 81 on Metacritic and 100 points from The Guardian, which praised the album for its global sound.
The EP "Iris" was released on October 17, 2025 via Dekmantel with remixes by Nídia and Verraco.
Dreijer released the collaborative EP "Brujas" with Colombian-Swedish percussionist Diva Cruz in June 2024.
The solo EP "Coral" was released on March 6, 2024 as a three-track release produced and mixed by Dreijer himself.
