Patrycja Wybrańczyk is a Polish drummer based in Gdańsk, working across European jazz, improvised music and contemporary composition. She studied at music academies in Kraków and Oslo, and at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. Wybrańczyk co-founded the all-female jazz quartet O.N.E. and the electronic jazz-rock trio Ninja Episkopat, and has shared stages with Paal Nilssen-Love, Arve Henriksen and Axel Dörner, among others. With around 15 albums to her name, she ranks among the most active voices of the younger Polish jazz generation.
Wybrańczyk's contribution to the compilation 'Portrety 3' (U Know Me Records) was released in May 2026 and is highlighted as an example of her improvisation-friendly contemporary jazz.
On 25 April 2026, Wybrańczyk performed her farewell concert with original compositions at Klub Żak in Gdańsk as part of the Bloom & Brass series, marking the end of her studies at Akademia Muzyczna im. Stanisława Moniuszki.
The duo album 'Akvæn' with Latvian saxophonist Inga Vamze was released in 2026 on the Sleeping Objects label - recorded at Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen.
O.N.E. released the album 'Well, actually...' on 3 October 2025, recorded in December 2024 at Polish Radio Studio S4 in Warsaw.
O.N.E. performed at jazzahead! 2024 in Bremen and was presented as Poland's first all-female instrumental jazz band.
