About

Patrycja Wybrańczyk is a Polish drummer based in Gdańsk, working across European jazz, improvised music and contemporary composition. She studied at music academies in Kraków and Oslo, and at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. Wybrańczyk co-founded the all-female jazz quartet O.N.E. and the electronic jazz-rock trio Ninja Episkopat, and has shared stages with Paal Nilssen-Love, Arve Henriksen and Axel Dörner, among others. With around 15 albums to her name, she ranks among the most active voices of the younger Polish jazz generation.
