Paul Simon is an American singer-songwriter who first found worldwide fame as one half of Simon & Garfunkel in the 1960s. His 1986 solo album *Graceland*, which wove South African mbaqanga rhythms into his songwriting, won the Grammy for Album of the Year - one of three times he has taken that award, alongside *Bridge Over Troubled Water* and *Still Crazy After All These Years*. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice over: with Simon & Garfunkel (1990) and as a solo artist (2001). His most recent album, *Seven Psalms* (2023), is a continuous 33-minute acoustic composition in seven movements.
Paul Simon announced in February 2026 a North American summer tour with 23 shows in 18 cities from June to July, as an extension of 'A Quiet Celebration Tour'.
In December 2025, Simon announced a European spring tour in 2026 with stops in Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London - his first overseas tour in eight years.
Paul Simon performed at the SNL50 anniversary gala on February 16, 2025 and sang 'Homeward Bound' as a duet with Sabrina Carpenter.
Simon completed a North American tour in 2025 with 50 shows - his first proper tour since 'Homeward Bound: The Farewell Tour' in 2018.
*Seven Psalms* from 2023 was nominated for a Grammy for Best Folk Album at the 66th Grammy Awards in 2024.
