Pétur Jóhann in Copenhagen
Pétur Jóhann delivers a stand-up evening filled with confusion, laughter, and uncomfortably funny stories. Only 130 tickets available.
Pétur Jóhann Sigfússon (born 1972) is an Icelandic actor, comedian and radio host who has been a staple of Iceland's entertainment scene since winning the country's 'Funniest Man' title in 1999. He is best known for playing the naive, party-loving Ólafur Ragnar in the sitcom trilogy Næturvaktin, Dagvaktin and Fangavaktin, which he also co-wrote. For decades he has also toured Iceland with stand-up shows built around wry, self-deprecating stories from his own life.
Pétur Jóhann tells in an interview that despite many projects he always finds time to perform on stage with stand-up.
He has announced a nationwide stand-up tour in Iceland from February 12 and through spring, with more dates to come.
He has announced three additional stand-up shows in October at the venue Ölver in Reykjavík.
