Phillip Faber (b. 1984) is a Danish conductor, composer and television presenter, trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He served as chief conductor of the Danish National Girls' Choir from 2013 to 2023, and has since worked as a guest conductor with orchestras and choirs across Denmark. Through DR television programmes such as 'Fællessang' and 'Den klassiske Musikquiz', he has become one of the country's most prominent advocates for the Danish communal singing tradition.
Det Kongelige Teater announced in April 2026 that Phillip Faber has written the music for the children's ballet 'Frede Stær's Dream Theatre' with choreography by Tobias Praetorius - a new production in the 2026/2027 season.
Phillip Faber received the Danish Artists Association's Appreciation Prize in 2025.
Faber toured in the 2025/2026 season with the lecture and community singing show 'Just Don't Touch My Old Christmas' to, among others, Det Kongelige Teater, MCH Herning and Tinghallen in Viborg.
A profile album with vocal music sung by Theatre of Voices is planned for release in 2026.
Phillip Faber was nominated in 2024 for the Carl Prize in the category Composer of the Year, Small Ensemble, for the work 'If Now the Light'.
