Pia Quist

Pia Quist is a professor at the Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics at the University of Copenhagen, specialising in sociolinguistics and the development of urban Danish dialects. In 2025 she co-authored "Bondsk i København" with Bjarne S. Hansen, a book exploring why rural dialects around Copenhagen survived rather than fading away.
