About

Pil (Pil Kalinka Nygaard Jeppesen, born 1991) is a Danish singer-songwriter from Valby who writes Danish-language pop songs about loneliness, falling in love and the awkward, relatable moments of everyday life. She debuted with the EP 'Når Du Går Herfra' in 2019, won DR's KarriereKanonen talent competition in 2021, and broke through with the single 'Dronning Af Månen' in 2023 - the same year she received the P3 Talent Award at P3 Guld. Her third studio album 'Ikk Gi Dig Selv Væk Før Du Føler Dig Hjemme' was released in June 2026, and she opened the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival as the first artist ever to perform on the newly expanded stage.
