Rechoired Fragmenter Monday
Rechoired presents the narrative concert 'Fragmenter' - a blend of Danish songs and personal stories about loneliness and belonging.
ReChoired is a rhythmic choir from Østerbro, Copenhagen, founded in 2006 and led by conductor and composer Peter Bom. The 25-strong ensemble moves freely between pop, soul, jazz and gospel - both a cappella and with accompaniment - and is known for weaving personal storytelling into its live performances.
ReChoired marks its 20-year anniversary with the narrative concert "Fragmenter" - three performances at Skt. Elisabeth Hospital on Amager during Spil Dansk Week 2026 (26 October - 1 November).
"Fragmenter" combines prominent Danish songs from the past 20 years with personal stories from the choir's singers about loneliness, vulnerability and community.
The choir's 10-year anniversary concert "Here's to Us" with Stephen Sondheim music, arranged by Peter Bom, was supported by the State Arts Foundation, Nordea Foundation and Danish Artists' Union.
The choir released the choral work "Sen Høst" on CD - a rhythmic choral work written and arranged by conductor Peter Bom.
Peter Bom, trained at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, became musical director and conductor of ReChoired in 2007.
