Rosanna Lorenzen (b. 1988) is a Danish-Iranian cellist, improviser and composer who performs under the name rosyán. Her work sits at the intersection of acoustic cello and electronics - field recordings, live looping and layered noise dissolving into silence. She has played at SPOT Festival, SPOR Festival, Click Festival, Copenhagen Cathedral and the DR Concert Hall, and appeared at Borealis, Europe's leading experimental music festival, in Bergen in 2026. She completed a Master's degree in Music Performance at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen in 2024.
Rosanna Lorenzen performed at Borealis Festival in Bergen (11-15 March 2026), Europe's leading festival for experimental music, in collaboration with Jaleh Negari, Andreas Pallisgaard and Zeki Jindyl.
The Rhythmic Music Conservatory released three RMC Session videos with rosyán, including the pieces MELÉN, SWIMMING POOL and Children of Fish.
Rosanna Lorenzen completed her Master's degree in Music Performance at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory with a graduation concert on 18 June 2024.
