About

Rosanna Lorenzen (b. 1988) is a Danish-Iranian cellist, improviser and composer who performs under the name rosyán. Her work sits at the intersection of acoustic cello and electronics - field recordings, live looping and layered noise dissolving into silence. She has played at SPOT Festival, SPOR Festival, Click Festival, Copenhagen Cathedral and the DR Concert Hall, and appeared at Borealis, Europe's leading experimental music festival, in Bergen in 2026. She completed a Master's degree in Music Performance at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen in 2024.
