Body Rhythm Factory performs a free concert for children and young people featuring music, body percussion and theatrical humour on the playground in Lergravsparken.
Rune Thorsteinsson (b. 1979) is a Copenhagen-based musician, composer and teacher, best known as one half of Body Rhythm Factory alongside percussionist Peter Stavrum. The duo has performed more than 700 shows worldwide since 2008, mixing piano, body percussion and physical comedy for audiences of all ages. In 2013 they received the YAMA Award from Jeunesses Musicales International for the world's best concert production for children and young people. His solo project Global Compositions - a musical journey across seven countries - won the Danish Music Award for world music and the Carl Prize for composition in 2016.
