Shamrock Irishfolk is a Danish-Irish trio rooted in West Jutland, where Denis McLaughlin from Derry in Northern Ireland and Svend Erik Larsen from Muldbjerg first crossed paths at Tarm Folk Festival. After playing together in the five-piece band A'Konto, they founded Shamrock - now a trio completed by violinist Pia Nygaard. Their repertoire spans the full range of Irish folk, from quiet ballads to rowdy pub songs, wrapped in storytelling and dry humour. With more than 25 years of touring Danish venues, they are a well-established fixture of the Irish folk scene in Denmark.
