Simon Toldam (b. 1979) is a Copenhagen-based Danish pianist and composer, and one of the most distinctive voices in Scandinavian jazz. He has won the Danish Music Awards Jazz five times - including 'Album of the Year 2019' for the trio recording Omhu and 'Orchestra of the Year 2021' - and records on the ILK Music label. Alongside his own trio and the larger ensemble STORK, he has collaborated with Han Bennink, Evan Parker and Peter Brötzmann, and composed for film, theatre and contemporary dance.
